Middle School Academic Tutoring

Middle School is hard to deal with. Each subject has a different teacher and the homework and tests have suddenly gotten harder. Your child may also have a learning style that his teacher does not address. Then there’s puberty. With so many things changing, it’s not easy to focus on studying.

To make matters worse, children’s executive functioning and information processing abilities do not mature at the same rate.  That is why some students might grasp concepts such as irony, democracy or photosynthesis, while others struggle.

At Advantage Learning Center, we are experienced at explaining study skills and strategies in terms your child can understand. We are also well versed in what your student should know at what point in school.
